, but there are those teams when a pet loses an owner. that's what happened to tommy. according to the daily mail, tommy is a 7-year-old german shepherd leaiving in italy. he was adopted as a stray by a woman named marta. the two were close and tomma would accompany her on errands and when she went to church. she died two months ago, and tommy showed up without anyone bringing her to the funeral. he is so fiercely loyal to her, every day when the church bells chime, he goes to mass. he's been to mass every single day. he is quiet and sits peacefully in the front of the church. none of the other parishioners have complained and they have given tommy food and water and shelter. they have all adopted him. it's a bitter sweet story and made us think of other incredible stories of dogs refusing to leave the side of their owns and friends, even if it means putting themselves in harm's way. tonight, take a moment to hug the dog you love and remember all of the dogs that loved you, and yes, do something nice for your cat, too. anderson cooper 360 starts now. >>> erin, thanks very much. the confession continues

that was there, a mr. tommy halloway who is with us. mr. halloway, if you would like to step up so the commissioners can see you. mr. halloway approached this individual, attempting to get this individual to cease and desist. the individual became aggressive and mr. halloway did the right thing at that point. he backed off, protected himself, but remained at the scene and became an excellent witness. so he provided a statement to the uniformed officers that responded. mr. halloway went above and beyond what a normal witness would do. not knowing mr. halloway had extensive history in graphic design and sketch, he went home and without prompting from any officer, he provided both a black and white sketch and a colored sketch of the suspect. in the meantime, i was able to put out a crime alert notification to the members of the san francisco police department, and i will show you this now. this is the bulletin that went out to all members of the sfpd. and within two days mr. halloway presented these sketches to me, and then, after looking at the sketches, and putting that information
